   This keyboard is exceptional, it’s no wonder the keyboard community loves it. I’ve never touched a topre switch in my life until today and the gamble was well worth it, coming from a k65 with cherry mx reds, this is like typing heaven, well worth the money.

   The service from smart imports was also very good, regular email updates, tracking support, the item was well packaged and it arrived in pristine condition, it took roughly 2 days to reach the UK from Japan.

   Now the bad part, UK customs. They held the item for almost 1 week before sending it to parcel force, parcel force then added a clearance fee of £11.25 on top of the import VAT which was £11.50, for a grand total of £22.75. Parcel force will send you a letter explaining the fees and how to pay once it arrives with them, once paid you can decide on which date you want them to deliver it to you.

   Keyboard 10/10

   Smart imports 10/10

   The keyboard is the best i ever had. The layout and the Topre switches are perfect. The only thing i dislike, is that the price is quite steep for an all plastic casing.

   Smart Imports has a very good support, that helped minimizing the import taxes in my country, and fast shipping.

   The communication with the seller was great I got fast and friendly answers to my questions. My order has been shipped within 24 hours and took 7 days to arrive in Belgium (which is fast knowing that it has to go by the customs).

   The keyboard is the best keyboard I ever purchased. The TOPRE switches are amazing. There is no comparison with my previous Cherry MX brown switches.

   The layout of the keyboard requires a couple of hours of practice but then becomes natural.

   I couldn’t be happier with the keyboard and the seller. Smart Imports were very friendly, helpful and super quick to respond to emails. The shipping was a very reasonable price to the UK and fast. I really can’t fault their service, and that great service is what made me decide to buy here rather than Amazon.

   The board is expensive, yes, but it quickly became my favorite board – especially when paired with an artisan and custom cable to make it my own. I’m still getting used to the layout – mostly the delete key, arrows and windows key – but I can see it being much more efficient in the long run (I did manage to prematurely send an email by mis-typing, as well as constantly typing strings of `##`## when I’m trying to hit the delete key, but I’ll get the hang of it).

   The matte black looks great and I think the sound is probably more than acceptable for the office, once I’ve mastered the layout. The switches are really the best I’ve tried, I know they are a polarizing choice but for me they are very satisfying and comfortable.

   In fact, I only really wrote this review as an excuse to type some more.

   Not gonna lie, this is very expensive, especially since you pay shipping + taxes of importation + a keycap set in white.
   The topre switches are insane in my opinion, i never tried one of these, i was used to clicky switches and damn i love them for typing, the feeling is insane (not that much for gaming i pref blues)
   Even if the board is in platic, it feels quite + the usb ports are a nice addition.
   The only thing i don’t like is that rubber pads are trash (only 2 on the back btw) so consider adding some or it can move but i’m fine for the moment.

   For the support, i can’t say anything bad… offered me a discount code, nice tracking feature, quick and the must, the seller lower the value of the keyboard so that way if customers examinate your item you will pay less taxes (Paid 40 euros in France, and i could pay way more if the seller hadn’t do that)

   In other words, it’s very expensive with a keycap set (around 250 euros + 40 euros taxes) but it’s a unique and iconic keyboard and the support is awsome like i said.
   The only bad thing is that you may don’t like topre switches because switches are very personnal, in my case i didn’t fall in love with them direcly, but few hours later, it started to feel so good.
   I reccomand the seller and this keyboard if you have the money, have fun !

   10/10 would order again.

   Keyboard is great. Love the feel of the Topre switches and can only echo the sentiments of the other customers here.

   I’m not usually one to leave a lot of reviews but I felt I had to in particular for this site and its impeccable service. If you want to order imports from Japan and Smart Imports has in stock what you need, you can trust this site. My experience was great. Fast and safe delivery.
   Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

   Premetto che è la mia prima tastiera Topre, va oltre l’aspettativa che mi ero fatto. la digitazione dei tasti è magnifica, si sente proprio la differenza con una tastiera a membrana, con espresso riferimento all’intensità occorrente per la pressione dei tasti, con questa tastiera veramente nulla.
   Ciò premesso, va detto che è una tastiera con un suo layout, quindi bisogna avere voglia e tempo di prenderci la mano…assenza di caps lock, tasti direzionali in seconda battuta e fruibili solo con la pressione simultanea del tasto fn, tasti invertiti etc. etc…insomma, un briciolo di pazienza e il gioco è fatto.
   Altra questione sono le vocali accentate: non essendo stampate nei tasti e volendo utilizzare il layout hhkb nativo, è possibile accentare le vocali con la pressione prima dell’ accento e poi della vocale desiderata. Al PC bisogna impostare la tatstiera americana internazionale per non avere problemi, diversamente i tasti hanno funzioni diverse da quelle raffigurate e non si capisce niente.
   Ora la testo un po`più a lungo.

    It doesn’t feel like the typical rubber dome keyboard. It has tactility and feels very smooth,It also feels like your finger tips are pressing on a soft pillow when you bottom out.

    I would recommend this keyboard.

    Shipping and communication with the vendor is excellent. 5/5
