These are the best mechanical pencils I’ve ever used. I don’t say this lightly. I’m not an architect, engineer, or draftsperson but I’ve used a number of different variety of pencils–it’s a weird hobby I guess. Sure, there are much more expensive professional grade stuff out there but those are in a different class of pencils and not used be mere mortals. The tiny rotating “engine” is a brilliant idea. The pencil takes a bit of getting-used-to because of the always-sharp edge facing the writing surface but that’s the whole point of this wonder-pencil. The added benefit of the rotating engine is that if you let out a little too much lead it is unlikely that you will accidentally break the tip. Did I mention there is a little, tiny “engine” in this pencil?

Solid. Light. Rotates the lead like it states. Very happy with it. Low price for a great product.
